William Neal is a European Volunteer from England who is currently placed at Hort Franckesche Stiftungen.
He studied Law with Business at Portsmouth University and after graduation travelled various continents of the world for six months. On his travels Germany stood out as a firm favourite, so much that he had a desire to move there. And this coupled with an interest in volunteering led William to the DRK.
As part of William’s project at the Hort he must plan and carry out cultural activities involving crafts, sport, activities and cooking to give children of the 2nd and 3rd classes an insight to other countries and cultures.
In his spare time he enjoys socialising and meeting new people, reading books and watching movies.
William lives in Halle (Saale) and has recently discovered the joy of writing in the 3rd person.
